DOLCE STAMPS AND CARDS DESIGN TEAM BIOGRAPHIES

CHARLENE
Charlene first began stamping in 2003 after having been invited to a friend’s Stampin’ Up party.  She’s been addicted ever since!  She loves deciding what colors and layouts to use in a design, and especially loves trying different stamping techniques.   Peace and tranquility is hers when she can lose herself in coloring her images using a variety of coloring mediums.  Her obsession grew even more in 2009 when she started her blog.  She has enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people throughout the world of blogging and sharing her love for card designing.  She counts herself humbled and honored to be asked to design her creations for family, friends, stamp designers and stamp companies.   Charlene also considers herself fortunate to have been able to recently take advantage of an early retirement from her life-long Michigan civil service career.  This gives her more time with her wonderfully supportive husband of twelve years, family and friends and to lose herself in a good novel, movie, or music….all in addition to more time for stamping! Charlene is also an active member of the SCS community and a current member for Rubbernecker Stamps.

CINDY
Hello, my name is Cindy Tschider. I'm a 61 years old, retired Child-care provider.
I live in the out skirts of Arlington Washington. I have been married 38 years to a wonderful man who supports my stamping hobby. We are blessed with two grown children.
As a young girl I loved sewing doll clothes and coloring but didn't consider myself a crafter.  I have been stamping for almost 15 year's. I must admit I wasn't too excited about rubber stamping when I was first introduced to it way back in 1996!
After attending my 2nd Stampin' Up party I was hooked.  My stamping world changed when I found Splitcoaststampers in 2005 and I became a paid member right away and started spending all my free time on SCS. SCS has become my stamping family. I have learned so much from all the very talented women there.  My gallery on SCS is YLM.
I described my style as "cute". My technique of choice is Gamsol Magic, which uses Prisma colored pencils, gamsol (also known as Odorless Turpentine) and paper blending stumps to color your image.
I'm so excited to be here.

EDNA
Edna Morrisedie joins our design team from Brisbane, Australia.  Having stamped since childhood, you will see Edna incorporate many different techniques into her work, including a mix of creative mediums she has dabbled in over the years.  Edna has enjoyed time on the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen Design team as well as guest design work with various stamp companies. She is currently serving as a Mischief Maker with Waltzingmouse Stamps.  What stays true across Edna’s work is her love of paper and stamps; the things she turns to after busy days at the office.

ELLEN
Hello, my name is Ellen Taylor. I am tickled pick to be chosen for the Dolce Stamps and Cards inaugural design team. I have had the extreme pleasure of meeting Betsy and Sandra, owners of Dolce Stamps and Cards during a recent visit to Seattle. These fabulous women have created a wonderful, inspiring, and innovative business that I am proud to have my name associative with.
I have been an avid paper crafter for five year. I always say "If it doesn't move, it is endangered of being altered." I teach classes in my home and in my community. I especially enjoy trying any new techniques and sharing them with others.

HEATHER
I have to first start by saying that I am very honored and excited to be part of this talented group of ladies on the Dolce team!

I reside in Tacoma, WA with my fabulous hubby of 16 years and my two gorgeous daughters ages 13 and 7; my family is the most important thing to me. As many stampers can relate, I am addicted to paper, I love to shop for supplies as much as I love to use them. I am a huge organization nut and can't stamp in a messy room. I work full time as a controller and human resource director, I am a huge Twilight fan and I love to read.  Many of you might know me as Princessheather on Splitcoast Stampers so I thought I would explain how the name came about.  I took my husband's last name when were married which just happened to be Prince and he certainly was my Prince. Ever since, my family has nicknamed me Princess Heather saying that they always knew I was meant to be royalty and thus the nickname stuck!

JUDY
Hello, my name is Judy Kreucher, most of you know me as jaydekay over at SCS.
Let me start off by saying that I am so honored to be on Dolce's first Design Team.
I live in Western Washington State with my wonderful husband and a very spoiled cat. I retired a couple years ago~~ lots more crafting time, what could be better! As long as I can remember I have been crafting one thing or another. Before I discovered stamping and paper crafting, I used to spend my free time oil painting and tole painting. That branched out into cutting my own wood projects to paint, then into making miniature wood clocks. I played a little with knitting, crocheting and some beading.
I bought my first stamps to use for various crafts.  No way was I going to spend the time to make my own cards! Well, that didn't last long, with my love of coloring, I was hooked on all the beautiful images out there just waiting for someone to bring them to life.
The rest is history, now card making and paper crafting has become a passion.
If I had to pick my style for cards, I would say from Whimsical to Elegant.
My favorite coloring medium is Prisma Color pencils blended with OMS.
I am currently also a member of Sassy Cheryl's design team.
I am looking forward to bringing a little inspiration and fun to your day!

TARA
I began stamping in Oct 2004 and have represented two different companies in the stamping and scrapbook industry. Currently working full-time for a software company, I like to craft in the evenings and on the weekend. I love making cards and scrapbooks and trying to create other things 'outside the box' such as gift bags, tags, boxes, calendars and bookmarks.

I'm extremely honored to be part of the Dolce Stamps and Cards Design Team. I look forward to getting started right away and working with such a talented group of ladies.
