Now let's see what you create using "fall colors"
This card was made by Charlene and wasn't is Dolce Stamps and Cards Store for more than an hour when a customer looked at it and said "I want to make that card".  This customer has a peacock at home and Charlene made this one look just like hers, she had to make one too.

Peacock
Designed by:    Charlene Merrick
Stamps:    Peacock by Impression Obsession
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black , Ranger Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, Stampin’
Up’s Rich Razzleberry
Paper:      Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, Black
Embellishments:  Rich Razzleberry polkadotted ribbon,  royal blue micro gemstones
Tools:  Ranger Firefly and Xmas Red Stickles, Polka dotted embossing folder,
Tim Holtz Alerations On the Edge Die, dimensional, Copic markers ,
blendin tool

This beautiful  peacock cling  mount  image  is  all  one  piece of  deeply  etched  rubber.      I like  how Impression Obsession has sectioned it off as a part of the image.  I colored the entire image with
Copic  markers.    After  I  colored  the  spots  on  its  tail  feathers  with  Royal  Blue  and  Salad  Green markers,  I  added  Ranger  Firefly  stickles  over  the  Salad  Green  portion.    Oh,  how  those  pretty, iridescent  spots  sparkle  in  real  life!!    Can  you  see  the  teensy-weensy  royal  blue  gemstones  on the peacock’s head  crest?    I  colored  the  crackled  background  with  Pale  Aqua  and  Aqua  Blue markers and sponged Ranger’s Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on the outer  edge of  the  cardstock.  The framed edges around the image were made with Tim Holtz’s Alerations On the Edge Die.  After  I  dry  embossed  the  Crumb  Cake  panel  with  the  polkadots,  I  ran  my  Rich Razzleberry  ink pad over it to color only the raised portion of the dots.

Now for some amazing eye candy inspiration to get you started:

Tara Williams

Now let's see what you can create, we'd love to have you play along with us:

Title: Up, up & away!
Artist: Tara Williams
Date:
Stamps: Local King 'Hot Air'
Paper: Festive Variety, Orange Fizz, Marigold Felt & Cosmo Cricket 'SaltAir' printed paper
Accessories: Black mini brads, Diamond Glaze, green copper wire for balloon 'strings', Sakura Stardust Pen
Tools: Corner punch, scallop punch, oval punch, 1/16 hole punch for brads andfaux sun

Description: I tried challenging myself for this card. In order to create the rolled corners, I took a ballpoint pen and curled the paper around it and marked the spot for the brad. I then punched the holes (only through the printed paper and not cardstock) and placed the brads. I've only used Diamond Glaze a couple of times and wanted to brighten the faux sun I created with that. I then took a hole punch around the scallop punch for a different sunny look. The most difficult part of the card that took the majority of the time was lining up the tiny, very bendable wires for the strings to the hot air balloon. They bend easily. I would probably use a different product next time :-)

Edna - Putt Putt Bang Bang

Title: Putt Putt Bang Bang
Designer: Edna Morrisedie (Edna15)

Keywords: DOLCE, Local King Rubber Stamps
Category: Birthday
Stamps: Local King Rubber Stamps: Antique Auto
Ink: SU: Early Espresso, Ridinghood Red
Embellishments: Mark Richards: Nail Heads; Prima: Fabric Alphabet Chipboard
Tools: 3D Dots; Jumbo Pinking Shears; Paper Piercing Kit
Paper: Basic Grey: Oxford; SU: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Ridinghood Red

You know they are the sounds of a vintage car, and how much fun would it be to have one of these, especially if it was red.... I think these stamps are great in that they have a front and back view, and you can mix up the different images on the one card, like I have done here.... and perfect for the older gents in your life, easy in one colour or two... and the dash of gold from the nailheads adds a bit of vintage to the card as well!

I love to make masculine cards and this Local Rubber King Stamp Mustang set is perfect for masculine cards and projects! I started by stamping the Mustang in Black Soot and embossind it with clear embossing powder. Next I colored it with a blender pen and for a nice shiny finish look I colored over the entire image with a versamarker pen and clear embossed over it. I sponged some Antique Linen framing the horse, leaving some white space for a little pop.
I created my background paper by stamping the leaves from Tree 1 with Versamark for a subtle look. I did some faux stitching and added some Nail Heads in the corners. Finishing it off with a homemade lasso.

Judy - Friendship Sails

Designer: Judy Kreucher " jaydekay"
Date Posted: September 4, 2011
Keywords: DOLCE, Local King Stamps
Category: nature
Stamps: Local King Rubber Stamps “Friendship” (6)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo black
Embellishments: green twine
Tools: Spellbinders label #17, black Zig artist pen, Sizzix embossing folder
3-D Dots, Prisma Colored Pencils, blending stumps
Paper: dp, white, black

First I stamped the two smallest snails to make my own background paper.
I wanted to have lots of little friends for the big guy in the front, so the
theme would match the sentiment. I think it works!
I ran the leaf through a sizzix embossing folder. Any design will work, this adds great
texture and makes the leaves look more real, I also crumpled the ends a bit.
The coloring on the snail is prisma pencils, blended with odorless turpentine, using paper
blending stumps.
I love to finish the edges of the card with either sponging, or a black outline.
This draws your eye to the main focal area of your card.

Cindy - Birthday Rose

Designer: Cindy Tschider/ylm
Date Posted: September 2, 2011
Keywords: DOLCE, Local King Rubber Stamp
Category: Birthday
Stamps: Local King Rubber Stamp Bloomin (4) Rose, Computer generated verse
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics Markers, SU Cherry Cobbler
Embellishments: Mark Richards Nail Heads, Clear Embossing Powder, Stickles Glitter (Diamond), ribbon
Tools: Spellbinders Label 9, Spellbinders Ribbon Tags
Paper: Bazzill red card Base, black, DP

I stamped my image and embossed it then I cut it out. I then sponged around it with SU Cherry Cobbler ink. I also sponged around the ribbon tag while it was still in the die to give it the crisp vanilla edge. I also gave the DP layer a dusting of Cherry cobbler.
I then colored the image with copic markers and add stickles glitter glue for extra sparkle.
I taped all the layers down with Double sided tape and popped up the tag on foam squares. Last I added nail heads to add more pop. I love these nail heads as they are flat for mailing.
